1. Reserve the freezer
Book a freeze on our website. We only offer 7-day freezes – this ensures that all pests and their eggs are definitely killed.

2. Protect the goods and bring them to us
Put the items to be frozen in garbage bags. You can protect them in advance or use the protection point in front. This is very important!

3. Freeze
You can access the space with a PIN code. Take your items to your own freezer according to the instructions.

4. Prepare!
Pick up your items when the reservation time is over. All pests and eggs are dead. You can rest easy.

How much can freezers hold?
One freezer can usually hold about four medium-sized suitcases , one flight bag , and a small carry-on item such as a backpack. The actual amount depends on the shape of the bags and how they are packed.
Why is the freezing period always 7 days?
Because few are insect experts – meaning most can’t say for sure what species they’ve spotted. Different insects and their eggs have different tolerances to cold, and a wrong assessment could leave them alive.

Luteet leviävät yleisimmin matkatavaroiden, vaatteiden ja tekstiilien mukana. Pelkkä tuuletus tai pesu ei riitä.
Pakastus pysäyttää luteiden leviämisen ja tuhoaa luteet ja niiden munat. Pakastus ei vahingoita vaatteita tai tavaroita ja tapahtuu ilman torjunta-aineita.

Which items are not suitable for freezing?
Most of your belongings – including suitcases – can go into the freezer as is. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Remove liquids, grease and wet makeup. They don't do well in the cold and can break.
- Electronics can withstand frost , as long as you let them warm up for a couple of days before turning them on.
- You can vacuum delicate items that cannot withstand the cold at home. However, remember to take the dust bag outside immediately.
And an important note:
Do not open bags or handle items in our facilities. Remove any items you need before you arrive – this will help keep the freezing process safe and smooth.

Are insects spreading in your space?
No. The process is designed to prevent spread.
All movables are protected in garbage bags before they are brought in or at a protection point located outside the office . Insects cannot penetrate the protective bags, so they cannot move around the premises. Movables are not opened or sorted inside our offices – this is always done elsewhere.
If the instructions are violated, any costs incurred will be borne by the customer. However, the instructions are simple: protect the movable property in advance and then bring it inside . This way everything will go safely.
